Worn out

The Autumnal weather has required me to rake up leaves this week - my arms were very sore afterwards, understandable considering the sheer volume of leaves I raked up as well as the long grass I had to wrestle with the rake.

Grandma is getting a fish-tank soon - she'll have pretty fish to watch, talk to and look after, meaning she won't worry so much about silly things or make things up.

After being accused of not being in touch with reality, I have been getting up very early to cook breakfast for dad and going to bed very late.
It works out that I get about 3-4 hours of sleep per day, strangely enough, I feel better compared to when I sleep in and get at least 8 hours sleep.
I have a short nap in the afternoon and catch a couple of hours early into the morning prior to plunging myself into the shower.

Speaking of an afternoon nap, I think I will have mine now!

Trials & Tribulations

I have to organise a lot for my grandmother this week and it is TIRING!

On the flip-side, I am watching a lot of Family Guy at the moment and it is really funny.

Buggeration

I just got a phone-call from my friends who have graduated from University - while I was in Sainsbury's!

The one night dad offers to take me out to dinner, my friends actually go out into Manchester!!!

TGI Fridays' had a queue at the maitre 'd's podium of at least 50 minutes, so we left.

We go to our friends' restaurant and discover it has been torched - with no end in sight and him living above the restaurant, we hope he is okay.

Finally, after driving around, I announce that I want to go home as
A) I felt unwell
and more importantly
B) I thought I had lectures tomorrow.

After eating my takeaway - it turns out that I don't have lectures tomorrow!

Hopefully, my weekend will be a lot smoother!

That sinking feeling...

I can't help but feel guilty when I leave my grandmothers' house.

Even though I cook, clean and entertain her and take her out I still feel extremely guilty when I have to leave to go home.

Oh well, I had better concentrate - I have exams soon and lectures tomorrow!!!!

Why???!?

Well, I put my bed out of its' misery and have replaced it with another one.

I have more lectures on Saturday, which, unfortunately appears to be the only day that the sun will shine for the rest of the week because it will be "showery".

Who on earth decided on the term "Showery"?
It's hardly likely that we will be running into the streets or (for those of us who are less exhibitionist) into our gardens stark naked complete with Shower Gel, razor and back brush!
Anyone doing that would be arrested before you can say "Rubber Duck".

The Eurovision song contest is on this weekend and the Irish entry was a Turkey of all things.
After a quick search on Google, it appears that this was not the only "Animal" entry in the contest.
Two or more "Animal" entries and it will be the Eurovision buffet!
